TEC MOBIL

In close cooperation with the German Association of Engineers, we have produced a new educational mobile for STEM subjects. The design and conceptual structure is largely based on the Fabmobil, which we also designed. A double-decker bus with a folding roof, extensive technological equipment and target group-oriented communication design.

As a studio, we worked full circle. This means that in the initial phase of the project, we held intensive consultations on the tour and communication concept, supported the purchase of the bus and developed the idea into a coherent design in workshop sessions with the VDI. We then designed the furniture and produced and installed it together with the trades. It was important for us to be actively involved in every phase of the project, as the conversion of special vehicles requires good planning and many decisions to be made in the moment when problems arise out of the blue.

The exterior design is based on the CI of the VDI and has been supplemented with individual motifs communicating MINT topics.
